Therapeutic experience in assessment and treatment of:
- Articulation and phonological delays and disorders (speech sounds)
- Dyspraxia of speech (difficulty combining speech sounds to form words)
- Speech of children with cleft palate (specific articulation deficits and hypernasality)
- Fluency disturbances which include stuttering (getting stuck on speech sounds and words)
- Cluttering (poor intelligibility due to atypical rate of speech, lack of awareness)
- Childhood language deficits (delayed or atypical development of verbal language - comprehension and expression)
- Pragmatic language disorders (difficulty using language to converse and interact)
- Selective mutism (avoidance of communication in specific contexts)
